Support: Philips SpeechExec Pro Dictate Does not recognize your DPM device

 Whenever using multiple devices with the SpeechExec Software, or replacing an old Digital Pocket Memo (DPM),  you need to check  "Transfer setting from the DPM automatically when you connect a DPM device" so it will recognize that you are now using a different recorder than before.

Instructions how to transfer settings:

Connect your DPM to the dock, then the dock to your PC and make sure the DPM display is showing that it is connected as shown below:


Open SpeechExec Pro Dictate Software (which is included with the DPM Package).
1. Select "Settings" from the top bar or from the Icon Bar. Then, select "DPM Settings".

2. Select "Program Options" and the default screen should be displayed as shown below.


3. Click the check box for "Transfer setting from the DPM automatically when you connect a DPM device"



Click "Apply" and then "OK".

This should help the new device be recognized and synced correctly.
