How to Set up Philips SpeechLive on iPhone - for Authors


Philips SpeechLive is a new effective way of working!

If you have more questions about SpeechLive you want to use SpeechLive with your smartphone, your dictation recorder or SpeechExec dictation software, you need to link your SpeechLive account to your desired application. Finished dictations are then automatically uploaded to SpeechLive.


Configuring SpeechLive for iOs Devices

Only the steps for the iOS app are depicted here. Some steps and functions might differ from the Android

Step 1.
Download the app for your smartphone either by clicking the respective link in the invitation email or directly in the app store.

Step 2
Tap the Dictation list icon at the top right of the recording screen.

Step 3
Tap Settings at the bottom right of the display.

Step 4
Tap Sending Options (second from top).

Step 5
Select SpeechLive.

Step 6
Select Registered Account

The SpeechLive Login pop-up window appears.

Step 7
Enter your User name (email address) and Password.

(If you don't know your email and password, contact our support team at support@dictationone.com or call 1-929-575-4500)

Step 8
Tap OK.

Important Note for Dragon Users:
If you are using's Philips SpeechExec ProDictate SDK or Dragon Speech Recognition software, it's important to make sure that the author name of the dictations matches how it's named in the dragon profile and is attached to the dictations,


Go to Settings > Sending Options > Workflow. Tap Author, Tap the + on the top right, enter the author name the way it's in the dragon profile, Click Done on the top left, Make sure to click on the right of the Autor name and it's showing a checkmark, this will attach the author name to all the dictations done with a smartphone.
