As of April 2016 the old 9600 series of Philips Digital Pocket Memo voice recorders will be out of service. The production of this recorder series has stopped beginning of 2013. How does this service announcement affect your dictation system?
In case of any technical hardware failure your dictation recorder cannot be repaired, since there are no manufacturer provided spare parts available any longer. It is not guaranteed that your dictation recorder will work with any new software versions of SpeechExec/Pro/Enterprise. There will be no further updates or maintenance of drivers for your recorder.
If you decide to update the operating system on your computer, e.g. Microsoft Windows or MacOS, trouble-free functionality cannot be guaranteed any longer.
