NEW USER CONFIGURATION USER INTERFACE (UI)
The new workflow user configuration UI design takes the feedback from our end
customer into account.
Especially for new customers the new UI provides
more intuitive design elements which make it easy to
set up and maintain SpeechLive workflow users. e.g. if
no user has been created for this account so far, the
user interface displays a large icon on which the user
can click to create the first workflow user quickly.
‘New user’ and ‘Edit user’ dialogs
• The new ‘Add user’ option makes it easy to pre-configure workflow users
before sending the activation invites to the users.
• The new ‘Office manager’ role can be assigned to any workflow user in the
system – see below.
• The email notification settings are applied for dictations coming back from
the transcription service, speech recognition service as well as for
dictations that have been finished by internal transcriptionists - NEW!
The ‘user overview’ list
The user overview list has been streamlined by moving standard configuration
options to the toolbar. The list displays the user role(s) as well as the activation
status at a glance.
NEW ‘OFFICE MANAGER’ ROLE
An ‘Office manager’ is a person who usually coordinates the incoming work in an
organization. In most companies office managers are part of the team which
means that they are also doing productive work – in our case dictation or
transcription.
However they also have to deal with vacations or sick leaves to avoid any
workload peaks. In SpeechLive this means that ‘office managers’ need to be able
to influence the workflow relationships quickly without having to wait for an IT
administrator or the SpeechLive partner.
In SpeechLive the ‘Office manager’ role is therefore a workflow user (author or
transcriptionist) who gets the additional flag ‘Office manager’ in the user settings.
When they log in to www.speechlive.com they will see the additional ‘Workflow’
tab where they have the option to maintain user settings (add, remove, edit) as
well as to change workflow relationships (Advanced business package only).
‘Office managers’ can be defined by ‘Account administrators’ and dealers (dealeractivated
customers only), as well as by other SpeechLive ‘Office managers’.
NEW WORKFLOW RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
With its matrix design the workflow relationship manager of SpeechLive stage 6
wasn’t fit to support up to 50 users.
Therefore we introduce the new revolutionary workflow relationship manager
where you can quickly connect authors with typists, or vice versa.
Linking authors and transcriptionists
Administrators can simply select an author on the left side and click on the
icon to link a transcriptionist to the author. They can also link multiple
transcriptionists with a single click by clicking the icon in the transcriptionist
header.
The linked transcriptionists are displayed in the center column.
Unlinking transcriptionists
To unlink a transcriptionist from an author, administrators only have
