There are three ways to get to that step to save additional commands.
As all Mac uses know that on Mac OS the top menu bar is being changed depends on what application is now active on top, So you need to make sure that when you use any of the steps below to make sure that you have clicked on the Dragon Medical Dictate for Mac application, and that the Application Manu starts with “Dictate".
Option A.
Make sure the microphone is on
1. Say [New Command]
2. Fill in on the right [Command Name]
3. [Command Description] Optional
4. [Context:] Use the Drop down Manu to select [Global]
5. [Type:] Use the Drop down Manu to select [Text Macro]
6. Speak or enter the Text you want to show up when you speak the [Command Name]
7. Click or Say [Save]
To add additional commands press the plus sign in the bottom of the command list column.
You can also bring up the Commands window by saying [Show Commands] when the dragon dictate Manu is active, If you are in any application when you say [Show Commands] it will show you available commands to use for that specific application
Option B.
You need to make sure that Dragon Medical Dictate is selected so the Top Manu bar on the Mac application is for selected to Dictate
1. Select from top bar “File > New Command”
2. Fill in on the right [Command Name]
3. [Command Description] Optional
4. [Context:] Use the Drop down Manu to select [Global]
5. [Type:] Use the Drop down Manu to select [Text Macro]
6. Speak or enter the Text you want to show up when you speak the [Command Name]
7. Click or Say [Save]
Option C.
You need to make sure that Dragon Medical Dictate is selected so the Top Manu bar on the Mac is for Dictate
1. Select from top bar "Tools > Commands…"
2. Fill in on the right [Command Name]
3. [Command Description] Optional
4. [Context:] Use the Drop down Manu to select [Global]
5. [Type:] Use the Drop down Manu to select [Text Macro]
6. Speak or enter the Text you want to show up when you speak the [Command Name]
7. Click or Say [Save]
